Established in 1972, Interspec Systems Ltd. is a privately owned Canadian company that designs and manufactures top quality, adaptable patient care systems. Interspec healthcare projects and equipment can be found at major hospitals across Canada, the United States, Puerto Rico, Ghana and Asia.
In addition to Interspec’s extensive range of customizable hospital headwalls and accessories, we also manufacture classroom control modules for educational facilities and schools across North America.
Our parent company, Aereus Technologies, is a pioneering manufacturer of anti-microbial copper coating for healthcare applications. And Interspec’s sister company, Alspec Industries, allows us to offer unmatched fabrication expertise and custom metalwork for all kinds of facility requirements, including a specialized architectural solutions division.

Allegro Full Wall System
Interspec Allegro Series Headwalls are built to suit the demanding needs of today’s busy hospital environment. Horizontal universal equipment management rails allow the mounting of virtually any type of accessories while handy vertical equipment management tracks provide even more flexibility. Medical gas, communications and electrical systems are all custom-configured to the customer’s specifications and designed for easy hook-up and maintenance.
The entire system is built on a rugged, anodized extruded aluminum framework clad in sturdy MDF panels that are covered in rich, colourful laminate providing a stylish appearance. Bed Positioning and Wall Protection
Interspec Bed Bumpers are an quick and economical alternative for bed positioning and wall protection. Interspec offers two different styles of bed bumper, each with it’s own advantages.
BASIC CONSTRUCTION
Interspec bed bumpers feature a sturdy inner framework made from a durable aluminum extrusion. Dense foam impact-absorbing material is mounted to the framework and the entire unit is covered with an impact-resistant .080” thick vinyl molded cover that is both durable and easy to clean. Removable end caps close off the ends of the unit, but allow access for mounting. Interspec bed bumpers have been tested to make sure they meet the stringent Greenguard Environmental Institute's and State of California's requirements for low emitting products as tested by Air Quality Sciences for both hospitals and schools.
Bed Bumpers are custom-manufactured to the specifications laid down during our design consulting phase according to the supplied shop drawings and documents. Units can be manufactured to almost any length to accommodate most requirements.

Classroom Control Panel
An economical and efficient service management system
All communication and electrical supplies are together in a secure, neat and tidy control panel-service module. Eliminates time consuming and expensive secondary operations. Shipped directly to the site ready for installation and pre-configured to be fitted with the required system devices allowing the skilled trade workers to complete the service installation quickly and on schedule. New components can be added as requirements change. The plastic laminate can easily be replaced to match future devices and colour/design changes of the school environment at a minimal cost.
